Before starting the program, applicants must meet the admission requirements, submit the required documents, and complete the admissions process.
Students progress through 14 units combining theory, lab instruction, and clinical experiences.
Hands-on and clinical learning allows students to apply what they learn in a setting focused on patient care and healthcare teamwork.
After completing the program, graduates can pursue applicable nurse aide opportunities in healthcare settings such as long-term care facilities, clinics, hospitals, physician offices, and home health agencies, subject to applicable Virginia requirements and employer qualifications.

How to Apply
Getting started begins with completing your application and preparing the required documents.
Complete the Unique Health School application form and pay the $75 nonrefundable application fee.
Provide two copies of the front and back of a government-issued identification document, such as a driver’s license or passport. The original must also be presented to the admissions office.
Provide two copies of the front and back of your Social Security card and present the original for verification.
Submit proof of your high school diploma or GED equivalency. If the document is in a foreign language, the diploma must be translated.
Provide your Nurse Aide Training Program Certificate of Completion from an approved program, as completion of nurse aide training is required for admission.
All required financial obligations must be fulfilled before beginning the program.
